Four years ago yesterday, our dear warrior, Mel, lost her battle to breast cancer. Breast Cancer awareness month happens in October. To celebrate and honor those who have been affected or lost their lives to the disease, the SHiNE community has asked to participate in the following:

1) Get a mammogram. Comment MISSION to their instagram page. Fill out a Google form
2) Purchase a Mel Scholarship fund t-shirt. 💯 proceeds goes to the Scholarships.
3) The next 4 weeks, Sandy will teach the majority of Mel’s routines in her honor.

Hosted by: Carmel Mayor Sue Finkam, the Carmel City Council, the City of Carmel, Lucas Oil and OneZone Chamber
Benefiting: Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank and Hamilton County Community Foundation

Community members are encouraged to join together, donate the requested items of need or financial contributions to help bring relief to families and communities working to recover from the devastating floods.
