14U Black opened the season with a 2-1 record in Dayton with a 3-game showcase series! ✅❎✅
Max Potash recorded a shutout to start the year in 14U Black's 1-0 win over the Columbus Flames. Gabe Pillar's hat-trick carried the team's 5-4 victory over North Olsted.
Coach Duggan stated that he "was very impressed by the effort and fight his team played with over the entire slate of weekend games and is encouraged by these outcomes to start the season!"

14U Gold opened the season at the 200x85 Howie's Hometown Cup in Grand Rapids. A turbulent start, but the boys adjusted and played progressively better hockey as the weekend continued.

Coach Taz described their performance perfectly:
"We were tested this weekend with some really good hockey, and we learned a lot about what this group is capable of. This is a fun group of young men to coach, they work hard for each other. We’re proud of the way they competed, responded to adversity, and continued to improve throughout the weekend."

Ian Gatton recorded a shut-out to close out the tournament against Big Boy.

Welcome Aaron Jones!

We are thrilled to announce the addition of Aaron Jones as the Goaltending Director for both the IYHA Jr Fuel and Indiana Elite AAA hockey programs!
Aaron brings 20+ years of experience working with elite goaltenders across central and southern Indiana.

Coach Aaron said it best:
“The goal is simple: develop confident, intelligent goaltenders who love the position and have the
tools to reach their individual potential.”

He is a master of creating consistent, age-appropriate, goalie development pathways and we are so excited to have Aaron join the staff.

10U Gold had a great weekend kicking off the season scrimmaged the Irish Rovers 2016s. They dropped the first one 2–3, but after settling in and working together, they came back triumphant with a 3-1 win.
Between games, the Fuel and Irish families had a tailgate together in the parking lot, which was a great way for everyone to spend time off the ice.

The team finished the weekend with their kickoff party at Bier Brewery, where Coach Zach got in on the fun, with Coach Zach leading the kids in a football game for some team building.

A really fun start to the season and we’re excited to see what Coach Joe and this group can do together!

Indy Jr Fuel 14U Gold has officially kicked off the 2026-2027 campaign with a GREAT practice, team meetings, off ice training, goal-setting sessions, and of course, ROCK CLIMBING!
Coach Taz and the young men of 14U Gold ended their first day together at for a few hours of team building and some challenging exercise!

We can't wait to see the heights this team can reach with a start like this...

Great initiative for any hockey families impacted by the recent flooding.

The flooding across Central Indiana has hit a lot of families hard. Homes have been damaged, belongings have been lost, and for some young hockey players, their equipment is damaged, destroyed, or literally underwater.

We want to help.

If your player has been impacted by the flooding and has lost or damaged hockey equipment that could keep them from getting back on the ice, please reach out through your coach or league representative.

We'll work with them to understand what your player needs and see how the Alexander Wittbrod-Rouse Legacy Fund can help.

Hockey equipment can be replaced. The opportunity to play shouldn't be lost with it.
