We’re excited to welcome our two new City SC Recreational Trainers, Coach Djavid and Coach Carlos, to Carlsbad this Fall through the Challenger Sports International Coach Program!

Both coaches bring a wealth of experience, energy, and excitement to our recreational program as they work with players and coaches throughout the season. Whilst they’re here in Carlsbad, we’re looking for members of our City SC soccer community who would be interested in hosting one of our coaches during their stay. Host families will receive: A weekly hosting stipend and A FREE Challenger Sports camp spot for their child

Top-tier competition with similar results in the unrelenting heat last weekend in Temecula at the 2026 Albion Cup Preseason Elite Showcase.

Both U15 and U16 MLS Next Academy teams (we see you with that double, Coach Max!) continued their winning form (repeat champs for the 16s! 👏).

Meanwhile, Coach Danilo and his U14 EA boys edged out Albion Los Angeles in PKs for the well-deserved spot on the podium. 🙌
