Another great tournament in the books! 🎣
The Calusa Inshore Benefit is always one of those tournaments you look forward to, not only because of the incredible fishing, but because it’s all for a great cause. It was truly an honor to be a part of it this year.
What a grind! We were fortunate enough to hold 1st place for a while, and the excitement was definitely there. This is not a tournament you can take for granted. We battled all day and finished 5th place in the Guided Division, fighting hard for a spot on that podium.
At the end of the day, we’re competing against some of the best guides in the state, so to be able to give them a run for their money is something we’re extremely proud of. There’s always more to learn, and tournaments like this are what push us to get better.
The fishing was incredible. We put a 39” snook on the board, lost count of the over-slot reds, but just couldn’t crack that 30” mark. And that big trout? That one was definitely a grind!
We finished with 86” total, while the winners took the W with an impressive 95”.
Big congratulations to everyone who competed, and especially to the winners. Most importantly, thank you to everyone who puts this tournament together and continues to support such a great cause.
