What a way to kick off the season! 🔥 Our Wildcats had an outstanding day at the Claymont Early Bird Invitational, with lots of personal bests, strong finishes, and performances to be proud of! 💪

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ THE WAIT IS OVER — RACE SEASON IS HERE! 🐾❤️

We’re excited to share our 2026 Canton South Cross Country season schedule as we officially kick off another season of racing! 🎉

Our first race is THIS SATURDAY at Claymont High School, and we’re bringing the whole crew! 🙌 Our High School, Middle School, and Running Club athletes will all be hitting the course and representing the Wildcats!

Come out and support our athletes as they put all their hard work and summer training to the test! 📣👏 There’s nothing better than seeing familiar faces along the course cheering them on!

🔥 New season. New goals. Same Wildcat pride.

Let’s get this season started! GO WILDCATS! 🐾❤️

$5 a car entry fee

What a great way to wrap up our first official week of the cross country season! ❤️🤍

Our Wildcats spent the morning getting in a run at beautiful Atwood Lake, followed by some great food, laughs, and time together as a team. It was the perfect opportunity to slow down, bond, and enjoy the family atmosphere that makes Canton South Cross Country so special! 🫶

A HUGE thank you to the Eibel family and friends for hosting us and putting on an amazing breakfast! We appreciate your generosity and everything you do to support our athletes and our program! 🍳🥞☕️

One week down, many more miles and memories to go! The work is underway, and we’re just getting started! 💪🔥

🔥 The countdown is over… Official practice starts MONDAY! 🔥

Our Wildcats are back from an awesome week at NEO Cross Country Camp and jumped right back into the grind! 💪

Today’s workout featured a bike ride, a run, and some well-deserved team bonding over breakfast at Coach Eibel’s. These athletes have been putting in the work all summer long, and it shows. They’re getting stronger, faster, and more confident with every mile.

The best part? It’s not too late to join the team! Whether you’re a returning runner or have never raced before, there’s still a spot for you in the Canton South Cross Country family.

We’re excited to see all of the hard work from this summer pay off and can’t wait to showcase what this team can do this season. The future is bright for Wildcat Cross Country! 🐾❤️🤍

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Our Wildcats are putting in the work this summer!

This week, varsity runners Logan Howard, Brayden Pipher, Mason Richards, Kaelyn Hein, and Savanna Rueschman are attending NEO Cross Country Camp, sharpening their skills, building team chemistry, and preparing for the upcoming season.

We’re proud of their commitment to getting better every day and representing Canton South with hard work and determination. We can’t wait to see them bring what they’ve learned back to the rest of the team!

There’s still time to join the Canton South Cross Country family! If you’re interested in running with us this season, we’d love to have you. No experience is necessary—just bring a positive attitude and a willingness to work hard!

Today we celebrated Family Day with our Wildcat Cross Country family! We’re grateful for the parents, siblings, grandparents, and supporters who make our program so special. Thank you for being part of our journey!

As our nation celebrates America’s 250th anniversary, we wish everyone a fun, safe, and memorable 4th of July weekend filled with family, friends, and community.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ There’s still time to join the team! We’re continuing to welcome middle school and high school athletes of all experience levels. Whether you’re an experienced runner or looking for a new challenge, we’d love to have you become part of the Canton South Cross Country family.
