Dear Lilac Bowlers:
We wanted to provide a quick update, as many bowlers have asked about the prize payout timeline.
Due to the size and complexity of the Lilac Tournament, the USBC has granted us an annual extension through October 21st to complete average verifications, resolve any appeals, finalize the official standings, and process payments.
We are pleased to report that all average verifications have been completed, and any required disqualification notices have been issued. While we understand that disqualifications can be disappointing, our goal is to always avoid them whenever possible, while maintaining the integrity of the tournament. The verification process is an important part of ensuring a fair and equitable tournament for all participants and is required under USBC rules.
We are currently in the midst of the appeal process period. Any bowler who wishes to appeal has the right to do so through the USBC, and we must wait for those rulings before finalizing results.
Once all appeal decisions have been received from the USBC, we will finalize the standings, prepare the prize lists, and begin the payment process. We will post another update here when checks have been mailed, and the official standings will be available on our website at that time.
