**THE BIGGEST TYPICAL BUCK EVER KILLED IN AMERICA SAT IN A BASEMENT FOR MORE THAN 30 YEARS.**

The Sam Aiuppa/James Martin buck from Illinois has now been officially verified at **207 7/8 inches**, making it the largest typical whitetail ever taken in the United States.

But here is the part that makes this story incredible.

The buck was killed back in **1991**.

For decades, those antlers were sitting at the hunter's home without anyone realizing they belonged to one of the greatest whitetails ever recorded.

Eventually, someone recognized just how special the rack was. After being properly measured and verified, the buck rewrote the American record book.

Which makes us wonder...

**How many giant bucks are still sitting in barns, garages, sheds and basements across America that have NEVER been officially scored?**

Maybe Grandpa killed one in 1968 and nobody thought much about it.

Maybe there is a dusty rack hanging above a workbench that would make the Boone & Crockett record book today.

Maybe somebody following this page owns one.

So let's see them.
