1. Get your steps down quick
Catch-and-shoot players can’t wait until they receive the ball to get prepared. Get your feet, hands, and body ready early so you can shoot immediately when you’re open.
2. Attack closeouts aggressively
If the defender takes away the shot, don’t bring the ball high and give them time to recover. Rip through low, get downhill, and attack the space they gave you.
Make real time adjustments
Missing isn’t the problem if you understand why you missed. Good training gives players immediate feedback so the next repetition is better than the last one.
