He fosters in his students many traits, such as, integrity, respect, and a good work ethic. In 2003, Master Leigh was inducted into the Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame in Houston, TX. In 2004, Master Leigh was also inducted into the U.S.A Martial Arts Hall of Fame as the Mixed Martial Arts Instructor of the Year. In addition, he is a member of AAU, Midwest Martial Arts Assosiation, and the Musahdo Hall of Fame. His son, Ethan Leigh, a fellow instructor, also has 20 years experience in TKD. As a skilled combatant, Ethan was a champion at the Junior Olympics three times. Several occasions he became a USSSA National champion, and a USNTF National champion. At age 14, he was inducted into the Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame. Later on, in 2007, Master Ethan Leigh was inducted into the Musahdo Hall of Fame as well. These two accomplished teachers, father, and son form a very high-class, full-spectrum teaching range.
