Something New Is Coming to Eaton Barbell
Over the past couple of years, I've been adding gym equipment that I personally believe stands out from the typical commercial gym pieces you see everywhere. And if you've trained at Eaton Barbell, you've probably noticed that I'm always looking for the next badass piece of equipment to bring into the gym.
Now that retirement is getting closer, I'm going to have more time to put that passion to work.
I'm excited to announce that Eaton Barbell will soon be expanding into something new. Gym Equipment Sales!!!
Along with my son Trevor, we will be working toward building a carefully selected lineup of commercial strength equipment that will be available for purchase right here at Eaton Barbell. This line is going to be called “LockUp Strength”....since I have been in Corrections for 32 years, the name is fitting. My main focus will be on selling pieces that stand out.
Machines with great movement, and adjustability to accommodate old guys such as myself with limited ranges of motion, to the young crowd that has that unlimited mobility.
And most importantly—equipment that I would personally want in my own gym.
Many of these pieces will be brought into Eaton Barbell first, where they'll be assembled, used, and put through the reps before I ever recommend them to someone else.
The goal is simple:
If I wouldn't put it in my gym, I won't recommend it for yours.
Over the next year or so, the front half of Eaton Barbell will evolve into a working showroom, where anyone can see, and actually use this equipment before purchasing.
I'm still in the early stages of putting everything together, researching manufacturers, testing equipment, and building a list of machines that I believe are truly worth bringing in. After owning Eaton Barbell for nearly two decades, I'm looking forward to taking a deep dive into the gym equipment industry, so stay tuned…the gym is going to be transformed into something very bad ass and unique over the next year!!
