HELP US, HELP YOU
The League office receives inquiries (calls/emails) from players looking for teams throughout the session. In order to assist them in finding a team, we do two things. 1) Direct them to post on the South Coast APA Free Agents page and 2) we go through the team rosters in our system looking for teams who have an open spot to fill.

So, how can you help us? Drop your dead weight! We have entire divisions with 12-16 teams and not one single spot open. If you don't drop your unreliable players, we won't be able to refer anyone to you.

PATCHES
Patches earned during last session's playoffs and through Friday, September 18 have been distributed. A special "thank you" to the following players for volunteering to deliver the team envelopes taken from the MVP tournaments, to the following locations:
Serena Bareno, American Legion Ojai;
Leigh Williams, Stiix Billiards;
Debi Teichman, The Rattler;
Mark Ritner, The Break Room;
Julie Ahring, Champs Sports Bar.
The rest, The Q-club, Take Five, PJ's Pub, Lucky Cue, Nectar, Paul's Tavern and The Copper Bucket were dropped off Saturday night (9-19) by Phil.

FALL SESSION will wrap up just before Christmas. A few reminders...

1) WEEKLY BONUS POINT(S) are given to teams who are current on ALL League fees. Being past due, any amount (yes, even if it is less than a dollar) will cost teams their bonus points. A team credit/past due is noted on the scorekeeper, just below the team name.

2) LEAGUE FEES are $40/team, payable on or before your night of play. If you are waiting until the next morning, you are taking a chance on being past due, as we sometimes have the need to process your scoresheets in the wee-hours of the morning, specially on tournament and special event weeks.

TABLE FEES are payable directly to the location. Please don't wait until they ask for their fees. Team Captains should make a habit of taking care of their team's table fees at the beginning of the night.

3) NEW PLAYERS must be current members. A player who has played APA before should NOT create a new member account. If they cannot remember their previous number/email/password, etc., just have them call the office and we will assist.

a) New to APA must first join and become members. They will be assigned a player number and be sent a verification email. Once that is done, they can be added to a team

b) New to your team (but have played APA before) if not current members, they will need to renew their membership before they play a match or forfeit the points they earn.

4) ROSTERS can be edited the first four weeks of the session via your scorekeeper app. Simply open the scoresheet, scroll to the bottom of your roster and click on the "edit roster" button. it is self explanatory from there, but if you need assistance, please call the League office.

5) SCHEDULES are subject to change the first four weeks of the session. Keep an eye out for teams being added and byes getting filled.

The new "tablet mode" has been activated for our area. A note from the IT team..."

"If players encounter any bugs or would like to share feedback, they can use the “Submit Tablet Feedback” link in the menu. They’ll also have the option to disable the new design if needed."

UPDATE TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 10:30AM -- Services have been restored. Only down for 16 hours. I'll have to remember that next time scorekeeper is down for 5 minutes. LOL.
