Miracle League 805 The ML805 provides children and adults with special needs the opportunity to play baseball!

The Miracle League removes the barriers that keep children with mental and physical disabilities off the baseball field and lets them experience the joy of America’s favorite pastime. Since the main barriers for these adults arise from the natural grass fields used in conventional leagues, Miracle League teams play on a custom-designed, rubberized turf field that accommodates wheelchairs and other assertive devices while helping to prevent injuries.

We are saddened to learn of the passing of Rio Mesa Baseball Coach Matt May, a friend and supporter of the Miracle League of the 805.

Year after year, Coach May brought the Rio Mesa baseball players to Friendship Field to serve as buddies for our athletes. But he never just stood on the sidelines, Coach May loved being a buddy himself, sharing his love of baseball, his encouragement, and his big heart with our athletes.

Our hearts go out to his family, Coach Regalado, the Rio Mesa Baseball community, and the countless players whose lives he touched.

Thank you, Coach May, for showing our athletes what it means to be a teammate, a buddy, and a friend. You will always have a special place in the Miracle League family. ❤️⚾

We are so excited to introduce our athletes and coaches for the upcoming season! Our teams are coming together, and we can’t wait to see everyone back at Friendship Field for another season filled with baseball, friendship, inclusion, and lots of FUN! OPENING DAY IS AUGUST 29TH, FIRST GAME STARTS AT 9AM!

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing coaches for volunteering their time and hearts to make this season so special for our athletes. We couldn’t do it without you! ❤️
