Kate has worked in the barrel racing industry since 2004 building web sites for nbha, rodeo, NFR competitors, producers and arenas. She spent several years working for Bobby "Bo**er" Barter and World Barrel Racing. A person couldn't have had a better start in the area of promotion and producing. She has also worked at helping CPRA, BRN4D, and various NBHA districts at keeping their sites updated and results posted. Having such close contact with so many great names in the industry, naturally caused her to want to do more than just the paperwork; in October 2009, Kate took up the sport of Barrel Racing. Though not a native to the whole "jackpot" or "rodeo" aspect of horsemanship, she quickly grew to love the sport, competing and working with people who shared the same passion for the sport. Betsy Hastie-Frazier has been running barrels since the age of 4. From clubs, horse shows, to High School Rodeo and Pro Rodeo. Betsy is not only a competitor, she's a trainer and has worked many a Rodeo as timekeeper and is known to "keep em movin' boys" during long hours of slack. In March of 2011, Kate and Betsy become a team and put on the very first $750 added barrel race at Lone Wolf Arena. The two have hauled together, volunteer to work at other local arena jackpots and NBHA shows, and have become good friends. The first-ever 2c 3b race was held on 9/28/2012 at Lone Wolf Arena. $500 added and a free t-shirt. If you attend a barrel race in the metro area, you're apt to see a 2c 3b shirt with the words "Love Dirt" on the back... that's us! We love the arena and the dirt that goes with it. Working with the NBHA MO-01 district, they also helped create the Fall "Carnival of Cans" which will be returning in 2013! Over 10 vendors, games, the first ever Glow in the Dark barrel run, dog races and more.. one great event over 3 days at a great arena! There are other "C's", it takes a handful to run a great show. We do our best to have our races photographed and we use and recommend Stephanie Batman- inspiredbyrj.com Many of our barrel friends and fellow competitors help keep the show moving along by helping announce warm ups, setting barrels, keeping time and more! When you have 2C 3B- you have a crowd! Call us- let us produce a race for you!
