Alamance Fine Arts Academy We are a Christian fine arts studio offering classes in art, theatre, voice, and dance. We also offer Voice lessons, Visual Art, and Theatre.

Our mission is to honor Christ by inspiring excellence and cultivating worship. We offer several genres of dance including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Liturgical, Modern, Clogging, Character, and more. Our classes are offered on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday evenings from September through May. During the summer we offer many summer camps.

Our mission at Alamance Fine Arts Academy is to offer top-level instruction in an openly Christ-exalting atmosphere, in which love for the arts and for one another, as well as joy in learning how to worship God with gifts and talents, are paramount. We hope our mission statement is clear, even in this short highlight clip from last year's recital! We are so proud of all our students and the incredible talent and passion they bring to the stage each and every year. 🌟

Please help us in welcoming another new member of the AFAA staff, Ms. Jordyn Guye! 🎉

Jordyn graduated from Clemson University in 2025 with a BS in Psychology, a minor in Dance, and a minor in Youth Development Studies. Jordyn is currently an online student at Liberty University, and is in her last year of her master’s program, working toward a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Jordyn has danced her whole life, her favorite styles including jazz and contemporary. She participated on the dance team in middle and high school and did club dance at Clemson University. Jordyn is currently the coach for Turrentine Middle School’s dance team and is excited for their upcoming season. Jordyn lives in Burlington, NC, and when she is not working or at school, she enjoys reading, dancing (of course), spending time with friends, and watching a good TV show/ movie. She is excited to be joining the AFAA staff and can’t wait to meet everyone!

The stage curtains are up and we are obsessed 😍

Especially with the little stools. I mean come on 🦓🦒

We want this stage to feel fun, not scary. Not every kid hears “stage” and feels ready to perform right away, and that is totally okay. We want it to be a place that helps them warm up, play, imagine and build confidence in their own way.

And some kids will not be able to resist performing, whether that’s dancing, singing or telling jokes 😆and that's A-OK!

Please help us in welcoming one of our newest members of the AFAA staff, Ms. Taylor Pennington! 🎉

Taylor is an Alamance Fine Arts Academy alum who began taking ballet and character classes at AFAA when she was 16, and continued until her high school graduation. She has also had the opportunity to work backstage on the tech crew for several of AFAA's theatre productions. She absolutely loved her time there and everything that she learned through those experiences. Taylor is married to Caleb--also an AFAA alum--and loves being a stay-at-home mom to their son, Graham. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, playing piano, a good, cozy movie, and going to her favorite coffee shops. She is so excited to be back at AFAA this year as the Theatre Assistant! 🎭️
