One of my favorite things about this summer has been seeing the world come together with the World Cup being hosted right here in the USA. Different countries, different cultures, one shared love of sport. It's a great reminder that competition can bring people together, not divide us.
Grateful for this amazing Kettle-Jitsu family at Legacy and for the freedoms we get to enjoy every day.

The hand fighting in this match was tough. My opponent was extremely defensive and wasn't giving me much to work with.
I stayed patient, kept looking for my opportunity, and the moment I secured a collar tie... I hit my patented ankle pick.
That takedown has been one of my highest-percentage techniques since white belt, and it's helped me win countless matches over the years—including this one.
Sometimes the key isn't forcing the technique—it's waiting for the right opening.
