Danzan Ryu Judo/Jujitsu includes escapes, locks, blocks, throws, strikes, kicks, submissions and weapon defense techniques. It is an extremely efficient system of personal-defense, as well as a path to greater self-awareness and health.

Burbank Danzan Dojo is so fortunate to have people like Professor Mike Belzer, Professor Kimo Williams, Guru Manuel Fargas, and Sensei Raymond Scholl, instructors who show up not just with their knowledge, but with their whole hearts.
What they give us is an embarrassment of riches. And what makes it even more special is watching every single person in that room, across all ranks…instructors too, soak it in, give it back, and grow together. That spirit of kokua flows in every direction here. 🥋
This is the dojo we get to be part of. We don’t take that for granted.
