A different kind of Milestone Monday… Happy 5 Year Anniversary, NCA 🤘🖤
5 f*cking years. It feels like 2 weeks and 17 years all at once. Looking back at the 29 year old who was so damn excited to have her own gym in the city feels almost as foreign as looking back at my 13 year old self.
The past 5 years have shaped me more than any other season of my life.
Five years of hard work. Five years of learning how to say no, how to set a boundary, how to trust people, how to trust myself, how to let things slide off my back, and how to keep going when life inevitably gets incredibly hard, both in and outside of the gym.
Five years of PRs, sweat, grief, celebration, heartbreak, life seasons, inside jokes, and the most intelligent, unhinged, witty s**t talking I have ever been lucky enough to witness. Truly, I don’t know where all of these funny AF people came from, but I have never laughed like I do every single day at NCA.
Five years of giving people a third space. A place to lift heavy, get sweaty, get stronger, be seen, be known, and have a damn good time doing it.
And five years later, the question that sits on my keychain every day still stands: “What if all the hard work pays off?”
Guess what, it does! Not always in the way I pictured. Not without cost, not without fear, and not without some “what the f*ck are we doing?” moments.
But it pays off...in dividends. In the raw strength of NCA’s culture. In the people. In the community. In a team I learn from every single day. In members who have become lifelong friends. In the OGs, the drop-ins, the people who came for one season, the people who are still here, and every single person who has ever walked through our doors.
Thank you for letting NCA be part of your life and for making this place what it is.
Thank you for every hell yeah brother, every hard workout, every laugh, every rep, every year.
5 years in, and we still know what works: Lift heavy, get sweaty, and have a damn good time doing it.

Pride 2026 🏳️🌈
NCA x Pace x Heart Fire Yoga are coming together again this year for Buffalo Pride!
On Sunday, June 7th, we’ll be marching in the Buffalo Pride Parade: loud, proud, and united.
At a time when LGBTQIA+ rights, safety, and visibility continue to be challenged, Pride is more than a celebration. It’s about showing up for our athletes, our members, our coaches, our friends, and our community. It’s about creating spaces where people feel safe to exist fully and authentically as themselves.
We move together, we celebrate together, and we stand together.
Stay tuned for more details on Pride 2026 shirts and donation based classes in the week leading up to the pride parade. All profits will donated to the “Buffalo-Niagara LGBTQ History Project”, an organization dedicated to preserving and uplifting LGBTQIA+ history in Western New York.

Murph 2026! Memorial Day at NCA means one thing: “Murph” ☀️
One of the most famous workouts in the fitness world, “Murph” is a Hero Workout performed in honor of Lt. Michael Murphy and all those who have served our country. It’s challenging, meaningful, and a true Memorial Day tradition.
Whether this is your first Murph or your 10th, there’s a version for you. We’ll have:
-partner options
-scaling options
-modified volume
-row/bike options
-and coaches helping you choose the right path for your fitness level
Heats will run at:

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms of NCA! Thank you for showing us every single day what real strength looks like…not just in the gym, but in the way you lead, support, care for, and show up for the people around you.
You’re also the reason so many other women realize they can take up space, lift heavy, and be strong too.

Officially official! Strength & Mobility Flow with Coach now has a permanent spot on the schedule: Every Tuesday @ 6pm!
This is where you work on the stuff that actually makes everything else better:
–Mind-muscle connection
–Stability and control through full range
–Breathing and positional awareness
–Strength in deeper positions (not just the “easy” ones)
–Midline work that carries over to your lifts and your bodyweight movements!
Expect a slower, more intentional pace. Yoga-style warm up, targeted strength, and both loaded + unloaded mobility work.
