VETERANS DAY
November 11th is the day we set aside every year to honor all the veterans living and dead who have fought to protect us all since the founding of this great nation. As we recognize that ALL gave some and some gave ALL on this journey, we also need to remember to assist the living who face the issues resulting from their service daily.

These individuals are an impart of the Western New York Community we serve with our programs.

As we look forward to growing our 2022 programs, please remember to let your friends and colleagues know of our programs and that they are always welcome as participants, volunteers and donors to help us sustain these programs.

This year as we remember with great sorrow the 20th anniversary of the 9-11-2001 tragedy, we need to appreciate life more. Time is something we can only spend once so we need to spend it wisely. None of us can change the past and the future is unknown however today is a gift, make the best of it!
We are all far more alike than we are different. It is a time for us all to give our military, police and first responders the respect and support they need and deserve.
May we remember this weekend those lost, those still with us, and continue to strive for a peaceful world of accessibility and inclusion,

This weeks Adaptive Kayak event will be at the Amherst Veterans Canal Park from 10-2 as usual.
