Buffalo United Flag Football

We are SO excited to announce our first-ever Flag & Field Day! This is an Olympics-style competition where your teams go head to head in a full day of games

This event was originally dreamed up by our very own Mahlia Lowell, and we can’t think of a better way to honor her than by bringing it to life the way she envisioned it… loud, competitive, and full of community!

Date: Sunday, July 26
Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Location: Ensminger Field

THE GAMES:

Teams will compete in:
Flip Cup (5 per team, relay style)
XL Cup Pong (2 per team)
Dizzy Bat Relay Race (4 per team)
Co****le (2 per team)
Punt, Pass & Kick (3 per team)
Tug of War (7 per team)

A sign up sheet will be sent to captains to have people sign up for the events they want to compete it!

FOOD & DRINKS:
The league will provide hotdogs! We’re asking everyone to bring a side dish to pass (sign up will be sent to captains!) Please bring your own drinks! We will have the water jugs as usual.

DONATIONS FOR CRISIS SERVICES:
In Mahlia’s honor, we will be collecting donations for Crisis Services throughout the day. There will be a QR code on site, absolutely no pressure, no minimum, every dollar counts.

Congrats to our Game 6 MVPs! Y’all played some amazing football today!

Special shoutouts to Lizzy Russo and Cate Piersa, they’re BUBs and this was both of their first times playing since their teams were low on numbers. Today they didn’t just show up, THEY SHOWED OUT!

So incredibly proud of all our friends who competed in Pride Bowl Chicago over the weekend! Though they didn’t bring any Ws home to Buffalo, everyone fought hard and gained immeasurable experience.
