👏🏼 Player of the Weekend: Noah Weidman

If you watched any of the 9u Southline Shamrocks this weekend, you saw a well coached team, a bench consistently picking each other up and then this kid - with his infectious little league smile.

Noah’s a stud. He was on our radar coming in to the weekend after taking a lesson or two with Mike Nolan and instantly became a favorite. Talking with Dad, he explained how his team was playing up in the ‘A’ level after being considered a ‘C’ team last year. Led by Noah and a few other powerhouses on the team, Southline managed to secure the #1 seed this weekend.

Making it to the ‘ship, but ultimately having a “9u inning” late in the game, Southline ended up losing to a very good Lancaster squad. As we watched and prepared to give out the trophy, Noah did what we all wish each kid would do; lost with grace.

Picked his head up, encouraged teammates and congratulated each kid and coach on Lancaster. As they handed over the Gold belt, he clapped for the other team and displayed a level of sportsmanship that’s uncommon at 9u.

It was in that moment that Mike decided Noah was our guy. We had an incredible group of young, impressionable ballplayers this weekend, but this kid right here - he gets it. His belts coming and if I was a betting man, it’s sooner rather than later.

Keep it up, Noah. Well done Mom & Dad.

Team Registration Opens: Wednesday June 24th 9am
Vendor Applications: TBD

Join us as we transform Ramsay Field into a true Fall Fest filled with local vendors, food trucks and entertainment. What better way to wrap up a great year than one last weekend at the park.
