Every diver should be able to handle an emergency. The NAUI Rescue Diver Course is how you get there.

This isn't just a prerequisite for Divemaster or Instructor training - though this course is required for both. It's one of the most genuinely practical courses any diver can take. You'll learn to recognize stress in another diver before it becomes a problem, perform in-water assists, locate a missing diver, and execute a full rescue. The curriculum covers accident analysis, environmental factors, proper planning, equipment, and situational awareness.

One lecture. Two open water sessions. Here are the dates:

📅 Lecture: Tuesday, June 2nd @ 6–9pm - DIPNDIVE

🤿 Open Water Day 1: Saturday, June 6th @ 9am–1pm - Windmill Quarry (subject to change)

Cost: $349 per diver.

Note: If you're working toward the Master Diver Certification, you'll need this course plus First Aid/CPR/O2 as prerequisites - so this is a good one to knock out early in the season.

ADVANCED DIVER CERTIFICATION 05/05/2026

Ready to take the next step in your diving?

Our Advanced Diver Certification is designed for certified divers who want to build confidence, sharpen skills, and get more out of local and travel diving - all while having fun in the water.

The program is flexible, letting you complete five different adventure dives at your own pace, with multiple dates available throughout the season.

Here's what the five dives cover:
🧭 Navigation Diving - advanced compass work and reading the natural bottom contour. One of the most practical underwater skills you'll ever develop.
🗺️ Exploration & Underwater Mapping - learn to survey and map an area as a team. Surprisingly fun.
🌙 Night Diving - the underwater world after dark is a completely different experience. You'll learn how to plan entry/exit points and dive safely after sunset.
⛵ Small Boat Diving - get out on the water right here in Western New York and earn your credit while diving local.
🔵 Deep Diving - we're taking this one to Bonaire (August '26) or Key Largo (May '27).

The Online Academic Kit ($239.95) needs to be started before your open water dives - you can grab it in store or online. Gear can be rented if needed.

Ask us about the "DIVE" package price when you register - it can save you money.

Registration closes 72 hours before each dive session (1 week for boat dives).

Full details and registration below - or call us at (716) 837-3483.

Earth Month 04/17/2026

We spend more time underwater than most people. Which means we also see more clearly what's changing down there.
This Earth Month we put together a page around something we actually care about - gear from brands that are rethinking how they build it. Eight brands, real initiatives, specific products. Wetsuits made without petroleum-based neoprene. Glues that don't off-gas toxins. Fabrics dyed in ways that don't dump chemicals into the water supply.
If you're a diver, snorkeler, or freediver who cares about what you're diving in, it's worth a few minutes.
