Squid health update: Since Squids tumour removal, we now know the cancer is an aggressive Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumour. We have made the decision to operate again next week. This time, a section of his intestine will be removed to ensure wider margins and give him the best possible chance at beating this. Medically, it was an easy decision to make. As his Mum, this was incredibly difficult knowing our sweet boy would have to go through the recovery again.

Thankfully, Squid is happy and is showing no signs of being unwell. We will enjoy the next week with lots of snacks, adventures and cuddles!

We have set up a GoFundMe (link in bio) for Squids surgical expenses and ongoing medical care. While any support is wholeheartedly appreciated, it is never expected. We are simply grateful to have you in our community x

Another morning, another round of hungry little faces waiting for breakfast. 😂🐶🐴🐷🐐🐔
Life here isn't fancy. It's early mornings, lots of cleaning, endless bowls of food, hay in places hay should NEVER be 😂 and more animals than I ever planned on.

But this is home. ❤️

Kimmy’s FurFriends is a small senior and special-needs animal sanctuary where the old, unwanted and sometimes forgotten get to spend the rest of their lives knowing they are safe, loved and HOME.
