Buckeye Elementary School District Buckeye Elementary School District, Arizona District 33, is a PreK-8 school district in Buckeye, AZ We are a community passionate about student success!

The Buckeye Elementary School District has been building future leaders for more than 130 years. BESD currently educates more than 5,800 students from Preschool to 8th Grade on eight neighborhood campuses, as well as two community preschools. Through a prudent, strategic budgeting process, Buckeye Elementary School District is able to offer all students:

Today was an incredible day of staff professional development, learning, and planning together. It might have only been one day, but we really missed our students! The best part of our week comes tomorrow when these classrooms are full again.

Building a strong reader can begin with just 20 minutes of reading each day. Reading together can be as simple as sharing a favorite book, talking about the story and making it part of your family’s daily routine.

📖 Take turns reading aloud.
💬 Talk about the pictures and the story.
⭐ Let your child “read” the story to you.
