Brunswick High School Athletics proudly thanks former Pirate standout Warren McClendon Jr. for continuing to give back to the school and community that helped shape his journey!

Warren’s mother, Joyce McClendon, and father, Warren McClendon Sr., recently presented a generous donation on his behalf to the Brunswick High School Athletic Department.

Before becoming a collegiate and professional football player, Warren was a multi-sport athlete at Brunswick High School. His donation will provide valuable support to several athletic programs, helping create opportunities and resources for the next generation of Pirates.

Warren continues to make Pirate Nation proudβ€”not only through his accomplishments on the field, but also through his commitment to reaching back and investing in those coming behind him.

Devin began at Northern Illinois, where he made an immediate impact as a true freshman and earned Third-Team All-MAC honors.

He later transferred to Troy University, where he continued making plays and earned 2024 All-Sun Belt Honorable Mention honors. πŸ†πŸ”₯

And then came the opportunity every young football player dreams about…

In April 2026, Devin signed with the LAS VEGAS RAIDERS as an undrafted free agent! ☠️

And he made sure people noticed him during the preseason! πŸ‘€

With the Raiders fighting to complete a comeback against the Houston Texans, Devin came up with the GAME-SEALING INTERCEPTION to secure a 22-20 Raiders victory! πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

Devin’s journey is another reminder that the road may take you through different schools, different cities and different opportunities β€” but you just KEEP WORKING!

Our Pirates went toe-to-toe with one of the top-ranked teams in Georgia and showed that Brunswick belongs on the field with the best! Although we did not get the final result we wanted, our players competed with heart, toughness, and determination until the final whistle.

A special thank-you to our parents, fans, dance team, cheerleaders, band, and Blue Crew! You stayed with us through the rain, kept the energy high, and supported our Pirates all night long. That is what Pirate Pride is all about! πŸ’™πŸ’›

We also extend a special shout-out to the ILA Longshoremen for joining us as our honored guests in the fieldhouse for the evening. We truly appreciate your presence and continued support of Brunswick High School!

Jamal spent his first three collegiate seasons with the Georgia Bulldogs, continuing to develop and earn opportunities along the offensive line.

In 2025, Jamal had a breakout year, appearing in all 13 games as a reserve offensive lineman and contributing on special teams. πŸ’ͺ🏾πŸ”₯

Now he’s taken his talents to CORAL GABLES and joined the MIAMI HURRICANES! πŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸŒ΄
