These beautiful butternut squash were grown in my mom’s and sister’s garden, and every harvest reminds me that some of life’s greatest gifts begin with a tiny seed, a little patience, and a whole lot of love.

One of my favorite ways to enjoy them is the way my mom has always made them slowly cooked until they’re naturally sweet and creamy, then topped with dates, raisins, almonds, coconut, pumpkin seeds, and other wholesome ingredients. It’s simple, comforting, and made with love. 🧡

If you’re looking for more ways to enjoy butternut squash, here are a few ideas:

🍂 Roast it with olive oil, garlic, rosemary, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
🥣 Blend it into a creamy soup.
