Meet Renata Sánchez and Elianna Camarillo, our Dancer Assistants. Their kindness, enthusiasm, and love for dance help our youngest students feel welcomed, encouraged, and confident every step of the way. Today, they’d like to share a few words with our Purple Family.

Hello, Purple Family!

Being part of ODAS means being part of a team that feels like a family.

When I was invited by Ms. Cristina to become a Dancer Assistant, I felt so happy.

What I enjoy the most is being with the little dancers and performing their choreography because it makes me feel like my old self.

The most valuable thing I have learned at ODAS is to dance and never give up on the Studio.

My biggest dream is to become a successful dancer and teacher, win lots of competitions, and one day have my own dance studio.

Hello, Purple Family!

Being part of ODAS makes me feel like I’m part of a family.

When I was invited to become a Dancer Assistant, I felt a little nervous but also excited.

I enjoy this role because it makes me feel helpful to others.

The most valuable lesson I have learned at ODAS is to keep trying and never give up.

My biggest dream as a dancer is to become a professional dancer and one day teach others everything I have learned.

When I was invited to become a Teacher Assistant, I felt so happy and excited to help.

The thing I enjoy the most about this role is being able to gain the trust of our Baby Moon students and support them through everything they do.

The most valuable lesson I’ve learned as an ODAS student is that it’s more important to have fun with your team, and that little mistakes can always be fixed.

My biggest dream in dance is to become more flexible and to be a role model for others who want to become dancers.

I’m excited to continue learning, growing, and helping our Purple Family this season. 💜

Today, we’re proud to introduce Ms. Jackelin Roma, our Sales & Customer Service Assistant. Today, she’d like to share a few words with our Purple Family.

¡Hola, Familia Morada!

Más allá de los títulos, me considero una buscadora constante de la naturaleza de la vida y el movimiento, buscando comprender la naturaleza y el universo.

Mi gran pasión siempre ha sido el arte corporal: soy profesora de yoga, bailarina y profesora de ballet clásico y danza árabe con más de 16 años de trayectoria. Además, tengo el honor de ser la única intérprete y divulgadora de la Danza Sufí Tanoura en Venezuela.

Mi motivación para unirme a Ophelia’s Dance & Art Studio nació del deseo de conectar toda esta experiencia con un espacio que vibra en sintonía con el arte y el crecimiento humano.

Desde mi rol en Ventas y Atención al Cliente, disfruto ser el primer puente que acerca a las familias y estudiantes a descubrir la magia del Studio, aportando calidez y compromiso.

Para esta nueva temporada, mantengo el propósito de vivir el presente y trabajar para que nuestros objetivos comunes se hagan realidad.

La vida es hermosa, frágil y cambiante. En un mundo tan acelerado, mi deseo para nuestra comunidad es que nunca olvidemos aquello sutil que sostiene la vida. Desde el silencio, demos gracias por el presente para construir nuestra mejor versión mañana, siempre con coherencia y respeto.

Today, we are honored to introduce the Founder & Artistic Director of Ophelia’s Dance & Art Studio, Ms. Cristina Gotés.

Today, she would like to share a few words from her heart with our Purple Family.

Si alguien me preguntara qué ha significado Ophelia’s Dance & Art Studio para mí, respondería que ha sido mucho más que cumplir un sueño; ha sido construir un hogar para cada estudiante y familia que ha formado parte de esta historia.

La danza llegó a mi vida cuando era apenas una niña. Mi mamá, la Dra. Ofelia Tovar, me enseñó el valor del esfuerzo y el amor por servir a los demás. Mi papá, el Dr. Gerardo Gotés, despertó en mí el amor por la enseñanza y me enseñó que educar también es una forma de transformar vidas.

Hoy, mi mayor alegría es ver cómo nuestros estudiantes encuentran en ODAS un segundo hogar. Con el tiempo se convierten en parte de mi familia. Cuando alguno toma un camino diferente, deja un gran vacío en mi corazón, pero también un lugar que siempre lo aguardará.

Creo firmemente que la danza no solo forma bailarines; forma personas seguras, disciplinadas y capaces de creer en sí mismas.

Gracias por confiar en mí y en todo nuestro equipo. 💜

Today, we are proud to introduce Ms. Roselyn Mayorga, Co-Founder, Deputy Director, and Art Program Director of Ophelia’s Dance & Art Studio.

Since the very beginning of ODAS, Ms. Roselyn has been one of the pillars of our Purple Family. Through her leadership, creativity, and passion for teaching, she continues to inspire our students every day.

Here are a few words from Ms. Roselyn:

Being part of the ODAS family has been one of the most meaningful chapters of my life. Helping build this dream has truly been a blessing and an honor.

Since we opened the studio, I have discovered strengths I never knew I had, like patience, empathy, wonder, and imagination. ODAS constantly inspires me to grow as both an artist and an instructor.

What inspires me most is seeing my students’ passion for dance and art. Watching them grow, gain confidence, and believe in themselves reminds me why I love teaching. I feel honored to be their number one cheerleader as I witness their journey from the very beginning.

Some of my favorite memories happen behind the scenes—sharing the excitement and nerves with my dancers just before they step on stage. With my art students, I love watching their ideas come to life and seeing their confidence grow with every piece they create.

My hope for this new season is to continue growing together as a family, inspiring our students, and creating beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.

Today, we are excited to introduce Ms. Elisa Pacheco, another wonderful member of our teaching team.

After being part of the ODAS family as a student for several years, Ms. Elisa now begins a beautiful new chapter as one of our teachers. Watching our students grow, develop their talents, and become leaders is one of the greatest joys at Ophelia’s Dance & Art Studio, and we couldn’t be prouder to see her begin this new journey.

This season, Ms. Elisa will be teaching Lyrical Dance and working with Elite ODAS.

Here are a few words from Ms. Elisa:

Hi everyone! My name is Elisa, and I’m so excited to be joining the Ophelia’s Dance & Art Studio family this season.

What inspired me to begin teaching is the opportunity to make a positive impact in each child’s life. I want to create a space where everyone feels seen, loved, and heard.

As a teacher, I hope to bring kindness, patience, positivity, and lots of encouragement to every class. I want my students to know that it’s okay to make mistakes because that’s how we grow.

I’m truly grateful to be part of Ophelia’s Dance & Art Studio, and I can’t wait to meet all of our amazing students and families. I’m looking forward to a season full of growth, creativity, and unforgettable memories together.

💜 In Her Own Words…

Hello everyone! My name is Paola Chavez, and I’m thrilled to be your Jazz & HipHop teacher! What truly inspired me to teach was the chance to share my deep love for dance. I’ve been dancing since I was six years old, and I can’t wait to pass on all the knowledge I’ve gained from competitive dancing, dance teams, and recreational classes over the years. Dance is such a huge part of my life as it’s how I express myself and carry my being. I’m so excited to share this passion with all of you who love it just as much as I do! I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity and absolutely can’t wait to get started. Thanks for reading!
