This just in…Coach Ontiveros just messaged me saying that he proposed the idea for the Hanna courts to be renamed to honor Coach Hoover and it was approved!

Last week we had the pleasure of recognizing Tennis Legend, Coach Terry Hoover, for his 50 years of service (and still going!!) to Hanna High School. Coach Hoover has touched countless youth, and peers, throughout his career.

These students are the Brownsville Hanna High School Tennis Team and they are 32-6A Bi-District Champions!!! They defeated PSJA HS 11 to 8 and have advanced to an Area playoff match.. AS WE SPEAK they are warming up to take on San Antonio Brennan in Corpus Christi at the HEB Tennis Center. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE EAGLES TENNIS TEAM AND GOOD LUCK IN ALL OF TODAYS MATCHES!
