Varsity volleyball at home tonight!

The 5-1 Jags host the 1-1 Vikings from Valley at 6:30pm in The Jungle. This gives you just enough time to catch the softball game and make it to the first set on time.

The Jaguar softball team smashed Jefferson High School on Tuesday night, winning 19-3 in three innings! It was the first win of the Jags' early season.

Freshman pitcher, Belen Gallardo, kept Jefferson at bay, whiffing seven of the 16 batters she faced. At the plate, the Jags showed a patience only the best have, drawing 25 walks against Jefferson pitching. When the Jags made contact, the runs poured in. Leading the way at the plate was Chloe Mooney (Jr) with a two-run home run and five RBIs. Gallardo helped herself out with a double, two RBIs, and a run scored. Sophomore Briella Nelson added two RBIs on a hit, and Daelin Ruff (Jr) had two RBIs in the win.

The team hosts its first home game of the season tonight against Englewood. The first pitch is at 4:30pm over at BIC Field. If it's your first time going to a softball game, the field is located just north of campus and it's FREE!

Getting a victory snap on the opposing court will never get old!

Last night, the Jags pushed their record to 5-1 with a sweep of Frontier Academy, 3-0. This is the fourth win in a row for the team.

This season's squad has been an offensive juggernaut, and last night was no different. Senior Kat Shadrach piled up 10 kills to lead the Jags. Junior Georgia Miller had another great match with nine kills. Senior Ravel LaBerge continues to distribute the ball on another level, stacking up 20 assists in the win.

Defensively, the Jags were solid once again. In just six games, the Jags have three players in the Top 10 in blocks. Sophomore Milena Quintana and Miller each had two blocks in the match. Senior Emma Purcelli is 4th in 3A with eight, followed by Emily Neptune in 7th with six. Quintana is 9th with five. Sophomore Tailey Sengdara and Miller were solid in the dig department, registering 12 and 11, respectively.

Next up: At home versus Valley on Thursday night. 6:30pm start!

Can the Jags make it three straight wins to open the season?

Tonight, the boys host the Stargate Eagles at 6:30pm. The Eagles come into tonight's match undefeated at 2-0, with wins against Fort Lupton and DSST: Cedar.

The Eagles' early-season offense has not been as prolific as the Jags, but you can never count them out.

See you at 6:30!

The Jags head to Frontier Academy for a 6:30pm match against the Wolverines. The non-league match puts two four-win teams against each other.

This season's squad is looking great after a huge weekend win at the SkyView Tournament. Junior Emily Neptune leads 3A Metro in kills with 35, tallying 13 in the win against SkyView. Not to be outdone, Senior Ravel LaBerge is now 4th in assists with 60 in just four games. We hope that the duo's performance is a sign for things to come!

Best of luck tonight, Jags!

Welcome to the Pioneer League, Jags!

With the start of a new season comes a new league for the Jaguars. The Pioneer League is a collection of 4A and 3A teams from across the area, featuring some familiar faces from the Metro League.

Today marks the beginning of league play as the Jags head to Jefferson for a 4:30pm start. Both teams opened the season with an unfortunate loss and are looking to bounce back for the first win of the season.

Let's get the W, Jags!

The Runnin' Jags faced some tough competition this weekend at the Bernie Gay Invitational. When you go up against schools like Niwot, Berthoud, Golden, and Legacy, it's a bit difficult to take the top spots.

In the varsity girls race, the Jags finished in 12th place. Sophomore Kennedy Candelaria paced the Jags with a time of 21:13 and a 36th-place finish.

The boys took 8th place overall in a tightly contested race. Senior Judah Wilson led the team and finished in 21st with a time of 17:09.

Next up: The Jaguar Twilight on Friday evening at Broomfield Commons
