INTRODUCING VC DENVER ACADEMY!

The perfect next step between our Youth Program and Club Volleyball.

Our Academy teams are designed for athletes who have a foundation of volleyball experience and are ready for more structured, competitive training — without the full commitment of traditional club. Think of it as club lite!

From January–April, athletes will train 1.5 hours, twice a week with a VC Denver coach, focusing on skill development, positional training, team systems, and competitive play.

📅 Season: January 4–April 25, 2027
📍 Tryouts: Friday, October 16

TRYOUT TIMES
11–13s: 5:00–6:00 PM
14–15s: 6:30–8:00 PM

2027 Tournament Schedule:
• Feb. 5–7 — CO Crossroads
• March 6–7 — Casper Classic (WY)
• April 23–25 — Rumble in the Rockies

Train throughout the club season with flexible scheduling and access to structured, progressive training. Open to all volleyball players 11-18 years old, regardless of club affiliation💪

Program Structure:
✔ 45‑minute sessions
✔ 2 sessions per week (athletes can RSVP for two time slots per week)
✔ 4‑week training splits with trainers in the gym

Additional offerings:
✔ Personal modifications for injury‑prevention
✔ Advanced movement progressions for "elite" athletes
✔ Planned 13‑and‑under specific sessions, with a focus on motor-skill developement

Our 14 and under club athletes that are not in high school are highly encouraged to sign up!

For athletes wanting to participate but are not playing club with us, we will be holding tryouts on September 9th from 4:30-6pm. Tryouts are free and spots are limited based on the number of our club athletes who sign up.

Our 2026–27 offer process is officially complete, and we couldn’t be more grateful for every athlete, family, and coach who chose VC Denver this season.

78.9% of athletes offered a spot chose VC Denver, and while we’re incredibly proud of that number, we’re even more proud of the people it represents — athletes who trusted our coaches, believed in what we’re building, and chose to call VC home.

Join us October 10 for a full day of volleyball! The University of Denver Pioneers take on LMU at 12 PM, and some VC Denver athletes will have the opportunity to participate in a pre-game activity🏐🤩 A portion of tickets purchased through our link in bio will go toward VC Denver athlete scholarships!

Then at 4 PM, MSU Denver takes on Regis, featuring VC Denver coaches Mia, Trynity, and Cadynce on the MSU Denver sideline and Krissy with Regis. Come help us raise money for VC Denver scholarships and support our coaches as they go head-to-head!

TRYOUTS + PRE-EVALS ARE HERE 🏐🔥

For our 11s–14s athletes, here’s what you need to know:

✨ PRE-EVALUATIONS
• 11s/12s: August 17 | 6:00–7:30 PM
• 13s: August 18 | 4:30–6:00 PM
• 14s: August 18 | 7:00–8:30 PM

🏐 TRYOUTS — AUGUST 22
• 13s: 9:00–10:30 AM
• 11s/12s: 12:00–1:30 PM
• 14s: 2:30–4:00 PM
• Cost: $35

**IMPORTANT:** All athletes must be registered online before attending BOTH pre-evals and tryouts. Athletes should bring a copy of their birth certificate and completed USAV Medical Release Form to TRYOUTS (not pre-evals).

The portal opens at 8pm on August 20th. Make sure your athlete is set up in case they receive an offer (more here: https://www.vcdenver.org/the-portal).
