Gypsea Charters

Couple more trips in the books on the big boat. Friday saw slower action for us with less than ideal conditions. Caught some nice fish but not nearly enough for the crowd. Mike from PA made the best of it nailing his limit and pool fish on a slower day.

Yesterday's trip was the total opposite with non stop action from the get go and loads of keepers in the mix. First couple drifts were on fire nailing a dozen or more keepers before it slowed to a pick. Countless shorts kept the rods bent until it was time to go home. Oli had the hot hand nailing 5 keepers orl while Pepe took down the pool with a good one. Quite a few limits around the boat made for an awesome day on the water. Thanks to everyone who came out both days as both groups were a lot of fun.

Hammered em today on the Little Gypsea! Had the right crew to fish some smaller bottom and boy did it pay off. Capt Joey had them on non stop action with lots of keepers flying over the rails. Had a short mid day lull but other than that the fishing was excellent. Dan led the way with the big one for they day, dialing in for tomorrows big money trip. Awesome job guys!

Lot of bites today with good short action at times and enough keepers to go around. Had to work hard for them, but everyone kept at it and some were rewarded with some nice fish. Kevin and Chris led the way with 4 keepers each orl while 15 yr old Matthew nailed to pool with a good one! Way to go, guys! Took a lot of bouncing around but some pieces ended up being pretty productive. Back at it tomorrow...

Only a handful of spots available tomorrow and Friday, after that we are sold out until 7/19 on the big boat.

Went to the same area we have been fishing yesterday, but the results werent there. Decided to make a move and it paid off! Despite the lack of drift, we hammered some really nice fish to go along with countless shorts. Gavin and Erik had the hot hands nailing 4 keepers a piece (orl) with Gavin nailing the big one of the day. Joe was on fire also with a fish on every time you looked over catching at least 50 shorts and a nice keeper. Had to work for the keepers but plenty of fish are around!

Weather is shaping up nicely for mid week and we have plenty of space available.

Our SUPERPOOL is scheduled for next Monday, 7/13, and we have space available. $120 fare, $120 mandatory pool.

Loads of bites, and a bunch of nice keepers the last couple of days. Countless shorts to keep everyone busy with enough keepers to keep you interested. Quite a few nice ones came up, with a few heart breakers dropped as well. Dion took down the pool yesterday, and Benny nailed it today. Nice job, guys! We have been bouncing around some smaller pieces of bottom, and picking away at fish on each piece. We have plenty of room at the rail tomorrow, come take advantage of a light crowd on a beautiful day!

Awesome trip yesterday for Rob and the boys. Bounced around a bit but but together a very nice catch of keepers. The short life wasn't there but the bites we got were the right ones and the boys capitalized! Big fish of the day went 7 lbs and everyone went home with fat bags of filets. There continues to be plenty of keepers around to catch. Thanks for joining us, fellas!
