Big belly Basics: Barbell Hip Thrust Set Up
Here are some tips to make the set up easier for you.

1) The bench you use need to be heavy or against something that won’t move
2) If using a barbell, start with weight, you can always lift more than you think, and the weights help you get in your setup
3) iIt might feel uncomfortable at first, but get it as close to your hip crease as possible and that might be under your belly

Today’s the day! Our Intro to Barbell Program is LIVE!!
We designed this program to help our community safely start a journey to barbell training.  

Whether you have aspirations to compete at your first powerlifting meet or to build strength for everyday life, this program delivers full body workouts designed to get you stronger in each of the primary barbell lifts. 

With just 3 workouts per week, each day prioritizes a specific lift, and offers accessory exercises that support overall strength building for that lift. Every workout features video demonstrations and offers modifications where appropriate. You can even record your weights and track your progress. The program also features tutorial videos where we talk you through the set up and ex*****on of each of the main lifts. So really, all one needs to get started is a bar, a rack, a bench, some plates and of course the FORM Fitness app!

Getting Off the Floor: Part 4
Getting more comfortable with each of these steps may require patience and repetition. The main point is that “hands” vs “no hands” doesn’t matter as much as you being able to get yourself up off the ground.

It’s 2026!
A pound is a pound! The real issue here is that this was a statement a Dr made 🤯
Who else has heard this before?

Again, a pound is a pound, muscle is denser than fat but they weigh the same thing.
-
The bigger issue is the doctor said this in context to lifting weights 🤦🏻‍♀️
Lifting will not make you gain weight, lifting will however make your muscles, bones, and even your brain stronger!
