This recognition goes to dancers who embody the spirit of dance through hard work, kindness, and continuous growth. Alexis is not only dedicated to her craft, but she’s also a natural leader who constantly supports her teammates and inspires younger dancers. Her passion, emotional commitment, and bright stage presence make every performance unforgettable. Alexis, we love you so much and couldn’t be prouder! 🩰💖✨

✨ Summer Intensive Faculty Spotlight: Kieran McBride ✨

We’re excited to spotlight Kieran McBride, one of the incredible resident faculty members joining our Beyond Dance Summer Intensive on August 13th! ✨

Kieran brings an outstanding professional background, having trained at The Royal Danish Ballet School and Gelsey Kirkland’s Academy. Her performance career includes dancing with renowned companies such as American Repertory Ballet, South Carolina Ballet, New York Theatre Ballet, and more.

Throughout her training, Kieran had the privilege of learning from some of ballet’s most respected educators, including Gelsey Kirkland, Patricia McBride, Diana Byer, and Magaly Suarez, an experience that continues to shape her thoughtful approach to teaching.

Kieran’s class focuses on building a solid technical foundation, a comprehensive understanding of musicality, body awareness, and artistry that translates across multiple different styles of dance. After all, ballet is the foundation of all other disciplines!

Dancers can also expect to strengthen their turns and jumps, refine their technique, and gain the confidence that comes from mastering the fundamentals. Kieran’s classes challenge students to become stronger, more versatile dancers while inspiring a lifelong appreciation for the art of ballet.

We’re so grateful to have Kieran share her knowledge and passion with our dancers! 💜

✨ Summer Intensive Faculty Spotlight: Gina Adele Polly ✨

We are so excited to welcome Brooklyn’s own Gina Adele Polly to Beyond Dance on August 13th! 🤍🩰

Gina danced her way onto the stage at the age of two and many years later, her passion for this art form still grows! Gina graduated from Hofstra University with a BA in Dance under Lance Westergard and has spent her career touring nationally and internationally.

Her impressive credits include:

✨ Performing with Hydroflow Dance, Darren Possibilities Tour, Push Factor, Chase Brock, and Vissi Dance Theater.

✨ Broadway & off-Broadway shows like “X-posed” (with Jay Rodriguez), “Good Vibrations”, and “Vintage Variety”.

✨ Featured dancer/singer on FX’s “Rescue Me” (Season 5) and Ne-Yo’s “By My Side” music video.

✨ Former Dance Captain for the New Jersey Devils! 🏒💃

With over 20 years of award-winning teaching experience, Gina created Dance with Gina Adele in 2023 to help dancers refine their goals for college, pro companies, and dance teams. Combining Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) & Pilates, she designed her signature TLC (Technique, Legs, & Core) class, which focuses on turnout, foot articulation, strength, turns, power jumps, and dynamic Jazz & Lyrical choreography.
