This weekend’s Birthday shout out goes to one of our silent leaders of the organization, our Allstar every year, the one and only #17, Chris (aka Rocco) Pesce - IF/OF. Chris joined the organization in the Fall of 2021 and has been tearing the cover off the ball ever since. A huge contributor for the 2025 High-A Metro Championship team. Last weekend at our annual Metro League Launch Party, the Nassau Yankees represented well and came home with a few awards that Saturday evening. Our 2025 Manager of the Year for the High-A Division went to our Co-managers Jesse Blumenau & Colby Olson, while the 2025 Cy Young and Playoff MVP for High-A went to Alex Feinfield who had a one of the best pitching performances during their 2025 Championship playoff run. The 2025 Fall Ball AA Championship plaque was received by our GM/Mgr Will Melgar Jr. including the AA Fall Ball playoff MVP that went to AA ace Benn Stancil. Once again congrats to our 2025 winners and nominees and Thank you to our League President Christen Colon who organizes this event every year , thank you! 🏆🏆⚾️💪🏼 #2025

Happy Birthday to #71 Brian Litchfield - 3B/1B/P, Big Country (nickname) joined the organization a year ago and never looked back since then. One of the best pickups in the 2025 offseason and helped the High-A Yankees on securing their first High-A title last year and also helped winning a AA Fall Ball championship. The Nassau Yankees organization would like to wish a Happy Birthday to one of our Top Managers in the High-A Division Mr. Jesse Blumenau (1B/OF/P) . Jesse took over the A+ managerial position last season and never looked back. This past summer he led his team to their first Single A title since 2014 and recently won the 2025 Co-Manager of the Year award and in addition we like to congratulate him on tying the knot as well. A huge birthday shout out to #33 - Colby Olson (P/3B/1B) . The 2024 Allstar gem has been a great addition to the organization and as his GM always says “as time goes by, he will be better and better and I know he’s ready to carry his team on his back every time he’s on the bump”.
