What are you thinking about? 💭
All day long, our minds are busy. The things we see, feel and experience all shape the thoughts that begin to swirl around in our minds.
But how often do we stop and ask, “Does what I’m thinking line up with what God says?” 🤔
Scripture reminds us that God’s thoughts are higher than our thoughts and His ways are higher than our ways. (Isaiah 55:8–9)
So when our thoughts get swirly, we can go back to God’s Word. 💫
In Philippians 4:8, Paul gives us a beautiful filter for our thoughts:
“Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
And when our thoughts don’t measure up, we don’t have to try harder on our own. We can turn our eyes back to Jesus—the One who does.
