South Dakota United Softball

This last weekend was the end of our 14U summer season. What a great year they had. Playing up a division on multiple occasions and battling in each game. So proud of this team.

They played six tournaments in eight weeks. That shows the talent and determination they have for softball.

What a way to end placing 2nd at the Northern National Tournament in Sioux Falls. Great job ladies. Can't wait to see them continue to grow and develop as a team.

Athlete of the month: Black Hills, SD

Macy plays softball at Stevens High School and trains with the girls group in the Black Hills. This past season she earned Varsity MVP, the Iron Raider Award and the Raider Leadership Award.

Our United teams competed this weekend in the USA National tournament in Sioux Falls. Both teams represented. Our 16’s won the 18 Division and the 14’s got runner up. We are going to take a short break and be back up in running for our Fall session. We Stand United!!!!

United teams came and battled in Des Moines. What a great experience we had as an organization. The 16’s were able to finish with 10 games and the 14’s finished with 6. Not bad for a three day stretch. Love our group and appreciate everyone’s support. We will be back in action in two weeks to finish our summer session.

The United 16’s finish the RingNeck tournament with a 4-1 record. An overall great showing but an exit that will leave a bad taste in your mouth.
Instead of being out on the track with the other horses, we left ours in the stable this morning. ( 4 quarters please). Going to keep fighting. One day we are hoping to collect from the pot. Tired of throwing money in like Josh. Thanks for all the support! We will be back!

Last year, UNITED 14U brought home the Silver Bracket championship in the Ringneck International. This year, they advanced further and earned a spot in the Gold Bracket. Although we fell short, we are proud of the girls determination and competive spirit throughout the weekend!
