ERN was back in victory lane this weekend at Airport Speedway!
After a few weeks of mechanical issues Hunter was eager to get back on track. He was bad fast as soon as the car hit the dirt. Lined up p5 for the heat and quickly made his way through traffic to finish p1.
With no invert he’d line up outside pole to start the feature. He had a great first start and by the completion of lap 1 he’d be leading the field. Hunter learned the boundaries of the start box on a restart after jumping and was penalized 2 positions. That didn’t phase him though, he again made quick work of the cars in front of him and in only a lap or two he’d again be leading the field. Hunter maintained that lead, even lapping half the field, and parked the ERN Motorsports 250 in Victory Lane.
