We are honored to host the Easton Folkes Golf Outing on Saturday, September 19, 2026, here at Green Acres Golf Course in Bridgeport.

This is a special day of golf, community, and purpose as we come together to support 11-year-old Easton in his fight against brain cancer. 💚

We’re looking forward to a great day on the course, including:

⛳ 4-person golf teams
🎯 Games & contests
🍽️ Lunch at the turn
🎟️ Raffles
🏆 Prizes
🍽️ Dinner following the outing

Golf registration is $400 per team of 4, or join us for dinner only for $25.

There are also several opportunities for businesses and individuals to support Easton through Honor/Memorial Signs, Dinner Sponsorships, Silver Sponsorships, and Gold Sponsorships.

Help us Congratulate, Saundra Vinton for her Hole-In-One on Hole 9! She used her 3-Wood to sink the 135 yard drive from the red tee’s. To make this even more impressive, this is Saundra’s first year golfing!

💚 MORE THAN A GREENSKEEPER — HE’S FAMILY. 💚
For 37 years, Rich has dedicated his life to the golf business. For the Green Acres family, he’s given so much more than his time and hard work — he’s given his heart.
Rich has been part of Green Acres since 2018, working his way from assistant superintendent to becoming the Superintendent we all know and appreciate today. He’s the guy who takes pride in every blade of grass, every green, and every detail of this course. But to us, Rich is so much more than his job title. He is family.
In 2024, Rich faced his first battle with colon cancer — and he beat it. Then, in June of this year, he was given another devastating diagnosis. This time, cancer of the ampulla. He has since undergone major surgery to remove his gallbladder, pancreas, and part of his stomach.
Through all of this, Rich has continued to show the strength, dedication, and heart that have made him such an important part of Green Acres. ❤️
Now it’s our turn to give back to him.
We are hosting Greenskeeper’s Revenge on October 10th, 2026, with proceeds benefiting Rich as he continues this fight.

We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Jeff Holbin and everyone who helped make the Clio Fire Department, Inc. golf outing such a great day!
It was an honor to host their outing for the second year in a row. We’re so grateful for the service you all provide to our communities.
