How much of an aircraft do you think can actually come apart during a full restoration?

This photo gives you a pretty good idea. With so much of the aircraft removed, you get a completely different perspective on how these machines are put together and just how much work sits behind the finished aircraft everyone sees.

Here’s a view of a Cessna 172 you don’t normally get to see.

With the instruments and avionics removed, you really get an idea of just how much goes on behind the panel. Plenty of wiring, planning and careful work before everything starts coming back together.

This one came to us for a full glass panel upgrade and the finished result looks right at home in the cockpit. We’ve included a few shots of the work at the end of the video so you can get a closer look.

What a difference a bit of paint makes.

These shots give a great look at the work that goes into the areas you’ll rarely see once an aircraft is back together. From the prep and masking to seeing everything cleaned up and painted, it’s all part of getting the details right.

It’s the little details that make this Beaver cockpit so good.

From the finished panels to the switches and levers, there’s plenty to look at when you get up close. After everything that went into bringing this aircraft back to life, it’s great to show off some of the smaller details inside too.
