Thanks for stopping by and taking a look around! To give you a little background: I am an only child who was adopted at birth. I have been happily married for 18 years to my husband Jonathan and I am a proud mother to my children Lucy and William. I am an angel mom to my son James, and I am a proud dog mom to Roscoe and Buffy. I worked for about 16 years as a Registered Dietitian and when life threw a curve ball at me recently, it also presented an opportunity. I decided to take a chance to explore my life’s passion for writing and art. It is my hope that through reading my personal stories of trauma and triumph, breakdowns and breakthroughs—you too, will learn ways to find the light within the cracks of life.

Here is our haul from Sunday.

I now like to wash them good before I decide what to tumble.

This also helps me be able to better see what we found!

I plan to dump these out in an hour or so—follow to see results and more rock videos!

This chunk of agate mix was found here in Mississippi!

I believe it’s a Crowley’s Ridge agate (as we find these regional agates often), but also what some call a “ruin” agate due to the bits and pieces you see mixed in the host rock matrix.

This unique beauty also has a beautiful wide lacing around the end!

For my birthday earlier this month I decided to get a bigger, more heavy-duty, rock tumbler!

It’s intense—and I love it! 😂🙌

There are SO many I want to show you and I have some cool before and after videos I’ll work on next.
