Cheers to good health, both in body and spirit, and with great gratitude for those who continue to stand behind the Bo Butner Racing team! We're living great days with great friends, and there are many more ahead of us. Bo, RL, and our whole team can't wait for the The 2027 New Year Resolution Race at Bradenton Motorsports Park, and before then, you'll find us chasing more of those beautiful Diamond Wallys with the intention of finishing out NHRA's 75th anniversary season STRONG! It's always a tough road because the competitors we race against are so talented, but that competition is what makes it so much fun (thank you all!).

A word from Bo:
"You can ask any person who does this — any win in drag racing is an accomplishment. I've promoted races for big money to win and brought in great sponsors that enjoy it, and we're excited to do that again with the New Year Resolution Race alongside Victor Alvarez. We love all of this, but we all know you cannot compete with what it feels like to win a national event Wally. We're very excited for the rest of this season... Life is good, and I'm ready to go race!"

The Bo Butner Racing crew had so much fun out there at the NHRA North Central Division 3 race at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park this past weekend!

RL, driving Brian Corradi's 2017 FS/A Camaro, drove her way to the fourth round. She's loving it, and you can expect to see her in the Corradi family's blue Summit Racing Equipment-branded Chevy more this year, if all goes well.

Mitch Kalitta wheeled the Jim Butner Auto Group Super Comp dragster to the fourth round as well and did a great job - we love hanging out with him; Mitch is such a good guy, and he's definitely going places.

Kristi Shipp lost a good race in the first round in Stock, and Bo lost a good one in round two in Super Gas. After Brian Corradi knocked out RL's dad, Randy Shipp, in round one of Super Stock, he had a great light in the second round but his day ended there driving a striking red FSS/A COPO.

All in all, a good time was had. Next stop: Bowling Green for the division race and the JEGS SPORTSnationals, and then it's back to Indy for The Big Go.... the U.S. Nationals!

Very proud of this little guy! There's nothing like seeing the people you love do good, and when it's your grandkid, it's even more special. J5 got it done tonight in just his third race out and earned his FIRST feature win!! He's definitely got it in his bloodline, but his own dedication and determination sure shine through. Way to go J5!
