It’s with great pleasure we Introducing the Apes competing in Sheriff 7s this Saturday in Dallas tx.
The tournament is named after, and dedicated to Blake “Sheriff” Blaylock. An outstanding person and player who represented our troop in the best ways. We lost sheriff last year, and his impact is felt by the many who love and miss him.
Best wishes to the athletes selected, may you represent sheriff and the troop well!

The troop kicked off their club summer season in Dallas Texas. With a bunch of new additions to the troop it was a day full of hard work, learning ,and competition. One player that set himself apart from the rest was Malachi! Whenever his troop needed him, he came through. Next up the troop regains its Calvary and takes on BloodFest in Austin!

The troop took on some tough competition in the Portuguese sun. After some competitive matches , the troop finished 11th. Luke was a dog all tournament for the troop. Energy on defense, confidence on attack, and a playing style that was full of flair. This was the troops second time at Algarve in Portugal , and it definitely won’t be the last. Most importantly, Gary had a great time!

The troop traveled to Ohio to compete in youth 7s nationals and came out in the top half of teams. Throughout the tournament the boys had some stellar wins, Ruan was a factor in each of these matches. His pinpoint skills and decision making in attack helped the troop to success against some top competition.

The troop took on some tough competition in the Portuguese sun. After some inedible matches , the troop finished 4th. Bomi was a force all tournament for the troop. Lockdown defense, physical on attack, and a playing style that was a momentum changer for the team. This was the first time at Algarve for our Women’s troop, and it definitely won’t be the last. Special shoutout to coach Macdowell for joining forces with us, it was a pleasure we hope to have again. 🇨🇦🇺🇸
