These young apes traveled to Utah and completed well throughout this high caliber tournament. With players who don’t train together, the troop had to lean on our unique style of play. Ethan was a natural playing that brand of 7s. Fueled by his passion, his work rate and energy led the team. We have to give a special shoutout to the hosts , and the parents of these players, it was a pleasure to work with y’all.

The troop traveled to Shreveport Louisiana for the TOLA Championship. Although we were unable to catch the top seeded quins in the points race, there were some positives to take away. Elijah’s performance being one of them. Stout defense, needed try’s, and timely turnovers, Elijah was lights out all tourney.
This concludes our u23 & Open men’s sides 7s season. Best wishes to our men’s players returning to their home clubs, and our collegiate players entering their new semesters. Thank you to the sponsors, families, and supporters for a fantastic summer. None of this would be possible without yall.

The troop had a blast playing some of the top teams around. After 2 days of high level play, the team showed great progress with each match . The coaches had a hard time picking one standout player so they chose two. These two apes really had an impact during the matches that led to a positive record. With Impressive try’s, solid defense, and a work rate that made a difference. Nilo and Dom are worthy of the recognition.

Tough go for the troop, not the results we wanted so back to the lab we go. One player definitely stood out, and It’s no surprise it’s Jr. A constant game changer, he makes his presence known in every match. Well done Jr!

The troop gathered in Austin Tx for our 4th tournament of the summer. A qualifier is a competitive environment, and moving it from Houston to Austin adds a different element. It was a changing day, but playing the best club sides in Texas, the troop showed improvement from Sheriff 7s. PJ embodied that rising standard of play for our team. His decision making, and attacking skill set made a difference in the troop . Congrats PJ! 🦍
