📣A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT- MEET THE ARTISTS!

🍺Ryan Bryce Johnson - Neal

Ryan Bryce Johnson, tenor, is a dynamic and versatile performer with a rich background in opera and music theatre. In 2026, he makes his Opera Montana debut in the world premiere of A River Runs Through It and joins the prestigious Merola Opera Program, where he will perform the roles of Tanzmeister in Richard Strauss’s Ariadne auf Naxos and Zuniga in Peter Brook’s La Tragédie de Carmen. Most recently, he appeared at The Santa Fe Opera as Borsa in Verdi’s Rigoletto, Giuseppe in Verdi’s La Traviata, and Faninal’s Major-Domo in Richard Strauss’s Der Rosenkavalier.

📣A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT- MEET THE ARTISTS!

🐎 Megan Marino - Heidi

A River Runs Through It will be Megan’s debut with Opera Montana. Marino is a regular performer with the Metropolitan Opera since her 2013 debut as the Voice of an Unborn Child in Die Frau ohne Schatten, she has joined the company singing Flora in La traviata, Second Lady in The Magic Flute, Second Wood Sprite in Rusalka, Laura in Iolanta, Myrtale in Thais, and Feodor in Boris Godunov. She is also a frequent performer at Atlanta Opera, where she has appeared as Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Sesto Pompeo in Giulio Cesare, Olga in Eugene Onegin, a gender-bent Beppe in Pagliacci, and the title role in the world premiere of The Threepenny Carmen, and at Santa Fe Opera, where her roles include Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro, Meg Page in Falstaff, and Suzuki in Madame Butterfly.
