Be in the water with your child and let them use their skills as much as possible ! Like training for a marathon or working out or any physical activity.. the more they can use their skills the better they will get !

👋 If you're new around here... Hello!
I'm Melissa, the owner and instructor behind Miss Meliss Swim School, serving families in the Clarksville, TN and Russellville, KY areas, and a bunch in between :D
I thought I'd share a little about myself!
💙 I first learned about ISR when my sister-in-law began her certification in 2017. I was in awe, and I knew I wanted to be part of the mission to help prevent childhood drowning.
🏊♀️ My favorite part of teaching? That "light bulb" moment when it clicks for a child. Seeing their confidence grow as they realize what they're capable of is something I'll never get tired of.
❤️ I've been married to my wonderful husband for almost 24 years, and together we've been blessed with five amazing kids, ranging in age from 9 to 21. Life is busy, loud, and full—and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Or happily holding a sweet baby whenever I get the chance!
