I get asked pretty often:

“When do you workout?”
“What does your training look like?”

Honestly, fitting in my own training has been a struggle.

When I’m at THNDR, my priority is the people in front of me. Making sure they’re getting coached, getting stronger and actually achieving what they came to me for.

Between that, demoing lifts, running the business, being on my feet all day and usually getting 15,000+ steps, my own training tends to take a back seat.

I still want to stay strong and in shape, though, so I had to find something that actually worked with my life instead of constantly trying to force a normal training split.

This is what I’ve landed on.

5 short lifting days + 2 really short core/carry days.

The lifting days are simple. One main compound movement, a couple accessories, train hard and get out. Most of my working sets are around 1–3 reps in reserve.

The last two days aren’t really “workouts” in the traditional sense. Just 10–15 minutes of core work, carries and movement.

By the end of the week, I’m still getting plenty of quality training volume. I’m just spreading it out instead of trying to cram everything into a few 60–90 minute sessions.

Nothing fancy.

Squat. Hinge. Push. Pull. Carry. Core.

The basics still work.

And I think that’s the biggest reason I wanted to share this.

Your training has to fit your life.

Not everyone has an hour or two to dedicate to the gym. Sometimes you have 20–30 minutes. Sometimes you have 10.

Do what you can, make those sets count and keep showing up.

I put the entire 7-day week at the end of the video. Screenshot it, save it and run it for 4 weeks if you want to try it.

No email. No sign-up. No DM.

Just sharing something that’s finally worked for me in this season of life, and hopefully it can help somebody else too. 🤙

Every athlete starts somewhere.

They don't begin by chasing scholarships, varsity spots, or championships. They start by learning how to move well, build confidence, and enjoy being active.

That's exactly why we created our Kids Strength & Conditioning program.

Our goal isn't to see how much weight a 7-year-old can lift. It's to teach proper movement, improve balance and coordination, build strength, and help kids develop confidence that carries over into sports—and life.

Starting August 4, we'll be moving to our school-year schedule:

📅 Tuesdays & Thursdays
🕓 4:00 PM
👧👦 Ages 6–10

If you're looking for a positive environment where your child can learn, grow, and have fun while building a strong athletic foundation, we'd love to have them join us.

Send us a message if you'd like more information or want to reserve a spot! 💪⚡

I’m still learning and growing in my faith.

Finding these verses have helped me shape behind how we approach training.

Discipline, perseverance, purpose, stewardship, and serving others.

My hope is that they encourage you the way they’ve encouraged me. ❤️

Every year, I watch athletes put in an incredible amount of work during the summer.

They get stronger.
They get faster.
They become more explosive.
Most importantly, they become more confident.

Then the season starts...

Practices, games, homework, travel, and life get busy. Before long, training is the first thing to disappear.

The problem?

Your body doesn’t know it’s “in season.”

If you stop giving it a reason to stay strong and powerful, those hard-earned gains slowly begin to fade.

That’s why I created our In-Season Performance Training.

This isn’t another hard workout added to an already busy schedule. It’s one focused session each week designed to help athletes maintain the strength, speed, and power they built all summer, while also prioritizing recovery, reducing injury risk, and keeping their bodies feeling fresh throughout the season.

One hour a week can make the difference between feeling worn down in October... or still feeling explosive when the games matter most.

My goal isn’t to leave your athlete exhausted.

My goal is to help them perform their best every Friday night, every Saturday morning, and every match, meet, or game in between.

Because the athletes who separate themselves aren’t just the ones who train hard in the offseason...

They’re the ones who continue investing in themselves all year long.

📅 Sundays at 5:00 PM
📍 Starts August 2nd

Let’s keep the momentum going. 💪⚡

Every year, I see the same thing happen.

An athlete spends the entire summer showing up, getting stronger, moving better, and gaining confidence. Parents watch them grow—not just physically, but mentally too.

Then school starts.

Life gets busy. Homework, practices, family schedules... and training is usually the first thing to disappear.

Before long, months have gone by. The next season rolls around, and they're right back where they started.

The athletes who make the biggest jump each year aren't always the most talented. They're the ones who never stop developing.

That's exactly why we offer our Back to School Performance Training.

Whether your athlete is in the offseason, getting ready for their next sport, or simply wants to keep building on everything they accomplished this summer, we'll help them continue moving forward.

💪 Strength
⚡ Speed
🔥 Power

Starting August 10th

Middle School: MWF • 4:00 PM
High School: MWF • 5:00 PM

Summer ends. Development doesn't.

Big shout out to Ethan Gallagher for stopping by and putting this together! The dude is seriously talented behind the camera.

He came in and grabbed a quick video of our middle school group.

We just wrapped up Week 5 with our youth group.

Seeing these kids get stronger is great, but my favorite part is watching their confidence grow. They show up, work hard, encourage each other, and keep getting a little better every week.

That's what it's all about.

The older I get, the more I realize fitness isn’t about perfection.

It’s about showing up on the days you don’t feel like it.

These people do exactly that.

Proud to coach them every morning.

6am crew knows how to work!
