🏆 TIA was honored to recognize Jonathan Morrison, Administrator of NHTSA, with the TIA Leadership Award last week for his commitment to roadway safety and support of TIA's inaugural Roadside Service Safety Week.

TIA CEO Richard "Dick" Gust and Vice President of Government Affairs Roy Littlefield IV presented the award during a meeting at the U.S. Department of Transportation, where they also discussed key roadway safety initiatives affecting the tire industry.

Today, TIA had the opportunity to meet with U.S. Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy at the U.S. Department of Transportation headquarters in Washington, D.C., to discuss key issues impacting the tire industry and roadway safety.

The discussion focused on several of TIA's top priorities, including consumer tire safety education, strengthening Move Over laws, advancing rubber-modified asphalt, and protecting consumer choice through Right to Repair.

During the meeting, TIA CEO Dick Gust and Vice President of Government Affairs Roy Littlefield IV presented Secretary Duffy with the TIA Leadership Award in recognition of his support of TIA's inaugural Roadside Service Safety Week.
