Congratulations to Audrey and Coach David on their success at the 2026 FISU Games in Lima, Peru!

Audrey faced a tough opponent from Peru in her Quarterfinals match to fall just short of reaching podium, but fought well and earned some high level experience in her first international tournament. We’re so proud of you for representing us on the world stage and we are excited to see you keep growing! You are a constant reminder in our community that with hard work and consistency, you can attain your dreams!

Coach David sat in the chair three more times, helping Team USA secure two golds in Individual Sparring and a silver medal in Female Team Sparring. As a whole, Team USA secured a total of 11🥇, 14🥈, 5🥉 to finish 1st overall in country standings, with Brazil coming in at second and Peru at third. This finish was a historic achievement for Team USA. Congratulation to all athletes, coaches, and their home schools, coaches and families!

Competitions like this remind us that Taekwondo is a driving force for unity all around the world! What an incredible opportunity to represent our sport and our country. 🇺🇸🇵🇪

Coach David and Audrey are traveling to Lima, Peru to compete at the 2026 FISU America Games!

Representing the Team USA Delegation via UniUSA and 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐞𝐤𝐰𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 the Taekwondo team will be among 340 participants across 9 different sports also representing the United States!

In total, the games will feature 19 countries, 3000 athletes, and 15 sports. Behind the Olympics and the World University Games, FISU America Games are the third largest multi-sport competition in the world! Not only is this an incredile opportunity to represent Team USA and compete at the international level, the collegiate FISU and world games are known for interpersonal interactions, cultural exchange, and a commitment to excellence, sportsmanship, unity among our nations.

Congratulations and best of luck to Coach David and Audrey! We are very proud of you!

Led by a former Olympic Athlete and a Team USA National Coach, InSeng Taekwondo in Boulder shares Korean culture through Taekwondo! In addition to regular classes, we also offer monthly events including FREE Community Classes where the Boulder community can try something new, meet our neighbors, and “kick it” together! Our first FREE Community Class is this Friday, July 10th!
