School’s back in session. Week 2 of our new cycle is officially underway and classes are packed. 👊 If summer threw your routine around a little, this is a pretty perfect week to get back into one. Kids are back in school. The calendar has some structure again. Put your training back on it, too.
This block is all about tempo strength. Slowing things down, owning every position, and building strength that actually sticks. Week 1 was about learning the tempos and finding the right loads. This week, you know what to expect. Now it’s time to settle in and build.
Slow reps. Strong positions. Consistent weeks.
See you in the gym. 💪

Peak week is almost in the books.
This week brought the heaviest loading of the meso, higher-intensity volume, and the shortest conditioning pieces of the block. Everything you built over the last few weeks was put to work.
Finish with focus, then get ready to shift gears. Deload week starts next week, a chance to reduce the load, recover, and let the work you’ve done settle in before we build again. Deloading is KEY to building the strength gains, we better see you all in the gym 👀
Strong finish. Smart recovery. Keep moving forward. 👊

Week 5 is where people start to fade. The excitement of Week 1 has worn off. The finish line still feels far away. It gets easier to go through the motions.
That’s why this part matters. You’re stronger. You’re moving better. And now you get to find out what the engine you built can actually do.
New movements. Fresh targets. Higher intent. Let’s attack it. 💪

Boulder summer is adding a little extra resistance this week. ☀️🥵
Heat, altitude, heavy lifts, and conditioning all pull from the same tank, so make sure to fill yours before class:
💧 Hydrate before you’re thirsty
🧂 Add electrolytes on hard and hot days
🏋️ Remember that heat is real training stress
If the weight feels heavier than expected, you’re not imagining it. Adjust when needed, keep the intent high, and give your body what it needs to perform.

Deload week: handled. ✅
You lifted lighter, moved with intention, and gave your body a chance to catch up with all the work you’ve been putting in.
Next week, we turn it back up. Get ready for heavier weights, higher RPEs, new movements, and plenty to get excited about.
Nice job slowing down without losing momentum, BA. Enjoy the weekend. We’ll see you ready to work next week. 💪

Today’s agenda:
🏋️♂️ Lift some weights.
💧 Drink some water.
💨 Pretend the fan is doing more than it is.
😎 Leave feeling significantly better than when you arrived.
Very serious business over here at Boulder Athletics.

Friday isn’t the finish line, it’s one more chance to show up. Get the lift in. Take the class. Do the work that makes the weekend feel earned.
You don’t need perfect energy. You just need to start.
See you at 😎 💪

It’s hot. It’s heavy. And we’re in it. 🔥
This is our heaviest week of the cycle so far, which means the goal is simple: show up, move with intent, and take care of your recovery.
Hydrate + Electrolytes.
Eat enough.
Sleep when you can.
Give yourself a little extra grace in the heat.
We’ve got about a month until back-to-school season hits, so this is the window to stay consistent, keep building, and finish summer strong.
Strong reps. Smart effort. Let’s get after it. 👊
