🚲Boulder is a great place for kids to ride e‑bikes. Just remember to ride smart, stay safe, and have fun!
Kids can use Class 1 and 2 e‑bikes on most paths, bike lanes, and many Open Space trails in the plains. Popular spots like the Boulder Creek Path, the LoBo Trail, Coal Creek, and Rock Creek are all good choices for families.
E‑bikes go faster than regular bikes, so it’s important for kids to wear the right kind of helmet and understand the rules before they ride.

Alejandro Acosta, 5 years ago, on Thursday, July 15, 2021, was struck and killed by a negligent driver, while doing what he loved most, biking in the mountains of Boulder, Colorado.
To honor Alejandro, let's meet at the intersection of Lee Hill Drive, and Wagonwheel Gap Road, anytime between 7 and 9 AM, on Wednesday the 15th of July.
Encourage everyone to bicycle. There's minimal parking. Exercise due caution.

Give input on wayfinding!
The City of Boulder Colorado Government is updating its current bikeway wayfinding signage to be more useful to the community and visitors - making it easier to travel across the city on comfortable, lower-stress routes and encouraging more people to explore the city by biking, rolling, or walking.
Please provide feedback on the sign design options and elements:
