We’re adding a new way to get moving in the morning! 🙌
Starting October 15th, Betina will be teaching a Basic Reformer Pilates class every Thursday at 10:00am.
If you’ve been curious about the reformer but weren’t quite sure where to start, this is a great place to learn. Betina will walk you through the basics, help you get comfortable with the equipment, and make sure you’re moving in a way that works for your body.
Come spend your Thursday mornings with us!

Pilates can be a valuable tool in both rehabilitation and long-term movement health!
With an emphasis on controlled movement, alignment, strength, mobility, and coordination, Pilates allows us to address how the body moves as a whole while still targeting specific areas that may need more support.
At ALTA, individualized instruction means exercises can be modified and progressed based on your current abilities, limitations, and goals, whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing an ongoing condition, or working to build a stronger foundation for the activities you enjoy.
Give ones of our classes a try!

Apparently the climbing wall isn’t just for patients.
One of the perks of working at ALTA? Your workplace comes with a built-in way to test your grip strength, mobility, coordination… and maybe your competitiveness.
We spend a lot of time talking about movement around here, but sometimes it’s just fun to move.

Cooler mornings are approaching, daily routines are shifting, and the transition into fall is underway.
As schedules become busier, it’s important to intentionally prioritise structured exercise within the week. Resistance training is a key intervention for improving musculoskeletal capacity, joint stability, neuromuscular control, and overall functional resilience.
With Betina providing supervision, exercise prescription, and technique correction, you receive ongoing clinical guidance to ensure movements are performed safely and effectively, with appropriate progression based on your individual capacity and goals.
A consistent, well-structured strength program can help support long-term physical function as you move into the new season!
Call or text ALTA at 303-444-8707 to schedule your 1:1 assessment.

There’s a lot that can happen when you have dedicated 1:1 time with your physical therapist.
It gives us the chance to really listen to what’s been going on, look at how you’re moving, talk through what’s working (and what isn’t), and make adjustments as we go. Your treatment isn’t based solely on where you hurt or what brought you through the door. We want to understand the bigger picture and what you’re trying to get back to.
That individual time also gives you space to ask questions and better understand what’s happening with your body and why we’re choosing certain treatments or exercises.
At ALTA, we want you to leave your appointment feeling like your concerns were heard and you have a clear plan for moving forward.

Meet Karen! 👋
Movement has always been a big part of Karen’s life, beginning with dance and eventually leading her to Pilates and physical therapy.
Today, she brings all three together to help her clients move better and keep doing the things they love. Karen especially enjoys working with hip and spinal conditions and uses her advanced training in manual therapy and dry needling alongside movement education to help clients build healthier, more comfortable movement patterns.
When she’s not at ALTA, you’ll likely find her dancing, biking, enjoying the snow, or getting outside with her family. 🏔️
We’re so lucky to have Karen as part of the ALTA team!
