What a week in the high country! Huge congratulations to all the APEX Performance athletes, coaches, and friends who pushed their limits and ripped some of the finest singletrack in the country at Aug 9-14, 2026 ! We’re so proud of everyone who took on the challenge and gave it their all out there.

Did you spot 🐄 coaches Neal Henderson & Andrea Dvorak on top of French pass? They played a little game of lactate or lactose 😂 some riders voluntarily wanted to get poked while others opted for chocolate milk. It was cool to see what people’s lactate samples were at while summiting 12,500ft. Ali O'Donnell had the highest reading on the day at 8.8mmol/L - crazy!! Science is fascinating 🧐

Coach Leah Van der Linden took 2nd overall with solid riding all week!

Also - a massive thank you to those who joined us over the past few months at the breck epic community ride series. You all brought amazing energy and hope it helped your success during race week.
